Korean Conversation – Level 1 (Online)

Prerequisites: None – Designed for students with no prior knowledge of Korean.

Overall Goals:

  1. In this course, students will learn to read and write the Korean alphabet, Hangul, basic grammar, vocabulary, and expressions, while constructing basic sentences.
  2. Students will become familiar with the subject, direct object, indirect object, possessive, possessive pronoun markers, verbs to be, infinitive adjectives, and general verbs, conjugation rules, and basic grammar.

Intended Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Feel comfortable with Hangul and be able to make simple sentences.
