Rates
Frequently Asked Questions
Faculty members with a teaching workload of at least 33% (or 0.167 ETC) at the start of the semester are eligible for the Beneva group insurance. Hourly-paid Faculty members are not eligible for this coverage.
Participation in the basic health insurance plan is mandatory for all eligible Faculty members. However, a Faculty member may request an exemption to the basic health plan if they provide proof of similar coverage under a different private group insurance plan.
As per µþ±ð²Ô±ð±¹²¹â€™s current contract, Faculty members have the option to opt out of life insurance coverage for themselves and/or their dependents, as well as dental and critical illness insurance.
Faculty who continue to pay their insurance premiums will experience no interruption in coverage during an approved leave.
