Carbon Neutral Forever project nominated for CRE sustainability award

The work of Dawson鈥檚 Facilities Management team to make 成人黑料 Carbon Neutral Forever has been nominated for an environmental award that is a R茅alisation championne in the institutional category, announced the Conseil r茅gional de l鈥檈nvironnement de Montr茅al (CRE-Montr茅al) on April 15.

The Facilities Management team has embraced the UN Sustainable Development Goal (#13) of Climate Action and the resulting projects have been shortlisted for a sustainability award.

鈥淚t is an honour for Dawson to be in such company,鈥 said V茅ronique Paris of Facilities Management. 鈥淭hese are all companies and organizations that are working to address a sustainable future and climate change. Dawson is at the forefront of this movement in Montreal.鈥

The CRE Gala will take place on April 29 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Director General Diane Gauvin will be present, virtually, to represent Dawson. The awards ceremony begins around 1:15 p.m. and the event will be broadcast live on .

The CRE Gala has given out awards annually since 2007 to innovative and inspiring projects in sustainability. The Mayor of Montreal Val茅rie Plante will be in attendance along with other leaders from the community, business and politics.

Dawson鈥檚 Board of Governors pledged to be Carbon Neutral Forever in 2018. Every year, we continue to measure and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and then plant thousands of trees in Nicaragua to offset the College鈥檚 remaining carbon footprint.
