30,000 trees being planted to offset Dawson’s carbon footprint

The Board of Governors of ³ÉÈ˺ÚÁÏ made the bold commitment to be Carbon Neutral Forever in October 2018. Now, that promise is being implemented with the planting of 30,000 trees this spring and summer.

A photo tour of the 1% art at ³ÉÈ˺ÚÁÏ

There is art throughout our beautiful heritage building. Sometimes when you pass something every day, you no longer see it. Let's use this time away from the building to appreciate the art we have on campus.

Here is a gallery of professional photos shot in June 2019 of the art work at Dawson. It was commissioned under the 1% rule that public buildings (new or renovated) have to set aside 1% of the budget for art. Special thanks to Alan Stewart and Rhonda Meier for help putting these photos together.
