Dawson Remembers

17 years today

It has been 17 years since the Dawson community suffered the tragic loss of one of its students, and many others were left wounded.

In honour of Anastasia De Sousa's memory and as an avenue for healing, the Dawson community planted a tree within the Peace Garden. The green space embodies life, renewal, peace, and remembrance, and stands as an inspiration for both teaching and learning. The College also presents the Anastasia de Sousa Memorial Award each year at graduation.

Another legacy of the community response is the Dawson Peace Week, held every year from September 13 to 21.

Dawson Professional Theatre presents Eurydice Sept. 20-23

From Sept. 20-23, the second-year students of the Professional Theatre Program at 成人黑料 will perform "Eurydice" by award-winning playwright Sarah Ruhl, directed by Stefanie Buxton.

"Eurydice" is a modern love story of two young people, Eurydice and Orpheus, profoundly in love and separated by extraordinary circumstances.
